Coral Dynamics mission is to relieve
stress on the worlds troubled coral reefs. By selling captive raised corals,
we are able to do our part, to ensure hobbyists and others are able to enjoy
reef aquariums in their homes, lobbies and offices for generations to come.
Our captive raised corals are far superior to those retrieved from wild
reefs. The coral reef aquarium is an ever changing environment in which many
wild caught corals can not easily adapt. A majority of the corals at Coral
Dynamics are 5th-6th generation captive raised. Our corals are used to the
aquarium environment and if cared for properly will flourish in your
aquarium. We offer a guarantee on all of our products.

Hello and welcome
to Coral Dynamics, Inc.
First, let me say "Thank You!" for visiting this site and making it known
you support captive propagation of Marine Ornamental Species. It's a
pleasure to know that our efforts to help take some, although small,
pressure off the over fished and over collected natural reefs of this planet
are appreciated by others.
I have been
keeping saltwater aquaria for over 10 years, and started in this hobby when
it seemed impossible to keep alive many of the creatures we take for granted
today; much less think about breeding and growing them in captivity. I
still own the very first tank I ever purchased for saltwater use. Though it
has undergone many different uses and a few silicon replacements it is still
in use today as a Bangaii Cardinal breeding tank and Zoanthid Growout
system.
I think the main
reasons I am running this site are my love for the fascinating creatures
that live beneath the surface of our vast oceans, along with my passion for
keeping them where they belong, undisturbed and unharmed. My desire to
propagate these species in a captive, closed environment serves to take some
of that pressure off of an already fragile ecosystem. The more species we
can get to adapt and thrive in our little glass boxes means for once mankind
is not out to simply use and destroy the very life-giving organism that
helped create and sustain his very existence. Ok, enough of the soap-box
speeches...
I hope you enjoy
your visit to Coral Dynamics, Inc and I also hope you enjoy your purchases
of our top quality captive bred / propagated livestock.
Thank you for
visiting,
Stephen Pollock

Here at Coral Dynamics, one of our goals is to become proficient at breeding
Clownfish, Bangaii Cardinals, and Seahorses..
Still today the majority of the Marine Ornamental Fish available in the
Local Fish Stores (LFS) are caught in the wild and shipped thousands of
miles to wholesalers who then sell to distributors filling orders for your
LFS. By the time you get to see the fish, they are often diseased from
stress or less than optimal conditions during their forced travels. We want
to help put a stop to removing happy healthy specimens from their familiar
surroundings and subjecting them to harsh and unfavorable treatment up until
the time they arrive at their new home, your aquarium.
Captive Bred clownfish serve to help stop the depletion of one of the most
sensitive eco-systems on the planet. These little guys were bred for one
purpose, to make you happy and help save the reef systems around the world
by providing you with a quality, happy and healthy specimen for your
aquarium. These clownfish have never known the vast oceans, they were born
in a glass box, and know nothing other than this is their home. Since they
are conditioned
to be around people, they acclimate better to their surroundings, they are
not as likely to be spooked by human contact, and they know you will take
care of them!

Don't purchase fish caught using cyanide or other poisons.
Don't purchase coral pieces or "live rock" for your tank unless there is
proof that they were cultured.
Tell your local aquarium or pet shop to stock only products that do not
destroy coral reefs.
When purchasing marine animals, please investigate the species you are
buying to ensure you can provide the correct environment. Consider what
other species of animals you already have in your reef tank and check if
this new addition is compatible. Also consider if the animal needs feeding
and whether you can provide the correct quality and quantity of this food.
Most importantly, consider the species natural living habits and try to
replicate them.
